What would happen?

Hi there,

What would happen if my php server tried to change a file say a .html file through an action of mine whilst someone else was trying to download that same page?

Would the server get priority, or would it have to wait untill the user has finished downloading the file?

I think the server would have to wait for the page to load first

EDIT:

I see, but doesn't that pose the same question? What if the user is downloading the file whilst the PHP server is trying to copy and replace the file that the user is downloading?
