Right guys, I work in "THE LAND OF PURPLE SHIRT GUYS" (clever edit 
) and we have an apple stand there which is ran by an apple representive.
Been having a few goes on one and they seem to be the dogs. Just want to clear some things up before I take the plunge. BTW - it needs to be a macbook so I can take it to the navy
Why would I buy one? This is some of the things the apple guy said:
*No Viruses
*Easy to use
*Faster than windows vista or windows in general
*Do more with a mac regarding all the imaging/video/music
And why wouldn't I buy one? This is what he said:
*Price. (lol)
So what do you lot have to say? Ive never owned an apple before, always been on windows - but Im 17 and willing to be moulded to a new OS/ new way of computers!
Also, is there a lot of apps for apple? Theres kajillions for windows!
And what about gaming? I would want to put windows on it with that thing called boot camp or whatever so I could play my games. How would it run vista/xp on a mac? And what macbook would be the best for running games? ( I assume macbook pro?)
And how long have the prices for the macbooks been like that for? Will they come down in price anytime soon? I would have thought so with the new apple air thing coming out.
