What would my next Graphics card upgrade be

I'm running 2X 680 4GB in SLI and was just wondering what the best upgrade would be.
780 Ti
970 SLI
980

Thats a lot of power there.

I would say the only worth while upgrade is the 970 SLI. It will be the next series from Nvidia where a single card might be a good enough upgrade from two 680 4Gb cards.

Personally I would stay put. As you've got the required 4Gb VRAM.

As they are 4gb versions, i would probably keep what you have.

I had sli 670's and have just bought a 980 , but that was only because i got it at an amazing price. Otherwise i would have probably just stayed with what i had. The 980 is 10-15% faster than the 670's so a 980 would probably only match your 680's. I also had the bonus of going form 2gb to 4gb of vram but you wont even have that. Of course you would have less power draw and probably less heat and noise.

The only real upgrade is 970 sli which would give you a pretty good boost.

I would stay as you are. I have two 4gb MSI cards which i replaced with a single 290x. Being i gave up after a year of trying to resolve a nvidia problem in my main game i play iracing, No matter what i did with the drivers i would get a nvidia DLL file problem. They are now running in my sons machine in every other game faultless. I get better mins on the 290x than the two 680"s but obviously less higher framerates. To me min framerates i think are more important than maximum especially when they are over the threshold of your monitors rate. A single more powerful card with a larger bandwith might give you better performance in that regard, but sacrifice max frames a little.
