Hi all, interested in your thoughts.

Let's say you had £300 to spend on this PC, how would you go? I've added my own thoughts, just wondering if you agree.

Intel 5820K - only real upgrade is to sell it for a 6800K, can't see a big improvement to be had.
Asrock X99E-ITX - best ITX board bar none, so no upgrade here.
32GB Crucial DDR4 Value (2x16) - Possible upgrade to a 3000+ MHz set, but would this really improve performance?
AMD RX480 4GB - a Fury Nitro would give 25-30% extra gaming performance so this is a possible path.
512GB Samsung 840 Evo - Possible upgrade to a 950 Pro, however would I actually see any big real world benefit?
Asetek 575LXL 240mm AIO - Only way forward here would really be custom water? And I would expect that to blow the budget hard.
NCase M1 - Love this case, don't wanna swap.
Silverstone SX600-G - The best SFX PSU. No upgrade here.
Dell U2713HM - Possible Freesync upgrade to a 1440p IPS screen? Would need research and would stretch the budget hard.
Aego M 2.1 - Possible upgrade to the new Aego3? No performance improvement, purely aural.

So yeah, i'm thinking a Fury Nitro and/or Freesync screen would be the way forward.

Just wondered really if there's anything obvious i'm missing.

Thanks in advance.

if thats what you own then only really need a freesync monitor otherwise gpu and monitor to suit.

or just sell the whole lot for better.

My thinking around the Fury Nitro over the 980Ti or 1070 is thus:

If I want to upgrade monitor at any point, i'm going to have to pay £200+ for the same GSync model as if I went Freesync. Hence my preference to stay AMD at least until the GSync/Freesync wars are sorted.

Rational?
