I was forced to swap the fan on my 8800gt as it's just become so noisy, it was so bad the whole computer was vibrating.
I had an old ATI 1800 radeon card with a Zalman after market cooler on, all the holes and heat sinks matched up so I swapped it over.
The card seems to be running fine and is much quieter, I've run GPU-Z and the temps are 53.0c at idle and 60.0c while in game running Crysis.
I didn't check the temps before replacing the fan but do have a memory of it being much the same the last time I checked.
Are these temps ok?
