I am stuck between the Corsair H50 (Liquid) or the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 (air)

Noctua NH-U12P SE2 - put me off because of it sheer size and weight (as the motherboard is mounted on its side in the case) and the
Corsair H50 because you have to have the raidiator blowing into the case (my pc is in a an enclosed shelf style unit under the desk I.e it has 3 sides and a top enclosure i.e you slide the tower into it, therefore so the back of the tower it isn't well ventilated as is close the the back panel of the shelf

Also the back plates of these I am assuming are metal. I have had bad experiences of motherboard shorting because components solder touching the metal back plate..

Any advise...

Thanks

if you could link a picture it would be useful, personally id go for the corsair h50 as liquid cooling iss almost always better than air cooling

I have the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 in an Obsidian 800D so no problems with room.

However, although the fans are of high quality and are lovely and quiet I am not particularly impressed with its ability to govern temperatures whilst overclocking.

Stock temperatures at stock frequencies are fine but up the VCore a little and watch those temperatures rise.

I am looking to replace mine either with an H50 or more likely with a complete watercooling solution.
