So a colleague of mine is looking to build herself a new gaming PC and looked to me for ideas.

However I've been out of the loop for a fair bit so I'm looking to you guys.

There are terms:

1. Base unit only - She'll buy monitor(s) and other peripherals separately
2. Cooling - She wants AIO, loves the idea of water cooling, doesn't have time/confidence for custom loop.
3. SLi/Xfire preferable but if a single GPU will do better then so be it.
4. Quieter the better.

Other than those she's open to suggestions. Budget is £1500 BUT there may be wiggle room if it's a SMALL amount over.

Hi

Do you know what resolution Monitor She is planning on ?

For 1080p then the GTX 970 is fine. For 1440p or above then look at the 980 ti.

There is also room to up the cpu to an i7 6700K or maybe go X99, but for a pure gaming pc then the i5 is still more than capable.

The Fractal R5 has sound dampening material on the panels.

Corsair RMx should be nice and quiet.
