Although I have just finished my new build...I still wanna do more lol, the bug has hit...So Im just seeing what I could do to still improve, and quieten this thing down, here are the specs

Asus A8v standard mobo
AMD 4200+ X2
Seasonic S12 600w
2GB GEil ram
Zalman 7700 cooler
2 x 6800gts
Thermaltake shark case (I know...this will go when everything else is quiet)
3 x Samsung spinpoints
All fans came with the case

I need to find a way to shut the northbridge cooler up...a way to shut the fans on the GFX up...and maybe even the zalman...and then some new case fans last....anything els eyou would change up in there?

Zalman passive NB cooler
Zalman vf900 GPU cooler
Akasa amber case fans
Schythe ninja CPU cooler
Decent case
7 volt everything!!
:)

Get Artic Cooling Accelero X1 instead of the zalman - quieter and cooler if I remember the results from the madshrimp review. Ninja's good, might even be able to run it without a fan in a P180. Akasa amber fans are good, but the benchmark for quiet case fans has long since been the nexus fans (not that you can get them at overclockers though). And yeah, undervolt those fans! Maybe not 7V: depends on your case, your airflow and whether you want to use your computer instead of your radiator in winter.

There is a whole community of people who strive for quiet computers, if you want to really get into that, so have a look around at their forums, I'm sure they'll be able to help more.
