So that's what I've decided to go for as my build had to get the 7970's because of the monitor offer or would they still work with Nvidia surround ? or am I better off with the 7970's anyway. Most benchmarks I've seen have the 680 just ahead but at the resolutions I'd be wanting play games at (in eyefinity) it's pretty even for the most part.

Any changes you would make let me know.

And go with two lots of this RAM. Better to have 4x4GB rather than 8x2GB!

Oh, and very nice system! Would probably spend a bit more on the case though given your budget.

You might want to check out the cpu comparisons and see what benefits to cost you will actually get.

Or this ram.

Substantial differences as far as I'm concerned those multi second savings add up when you're day is filled with said work. Could cut my waiting times by hours throughout the course of a month.

Yeah I made a mistake with my ram selection going with two of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-112-KS

I'd personally replace the Barracuda Green drive with a standard 2TB Barracuda and save yourself £10 in the process.

Switched thanks
