Will keep it short as possible but just wonderd what you would do in this situation.
Wife ordered a contract phone on T moby site recieved it on Tuesday followed instructions charged and put the sim in, only to find that phone came up with limited service and would only allow her to make emergency calls. Because we have other phones in house with T moby we put a sim card in the phone to see if it was the card or the phone by the way its a D600 bottom line is the sim card is the problem. well after making numerous calls to T moby they say rather than sending a new sim they will activate it from there end but could take up to 72 hrs BUT might be longer due to BH!!!
Wife pointed out that this would take her out of the 7 days right to return under the DSR< distance selling.. so they stuck a note on the record to say that it had been noted. Then to cap it off the next day Wed she got a bill from them advising her that the first payment for the phone would be taken out in July in effect not many days after if all goes to plan it would work AND to add insult to injury they charged her for a day that the phone was in transit it hadn't even got here.
Bottom line is phone still isn't working and doubt if it will work before T moby will supposedly call my wife on Tue to check it is working. I personally think she should tell them to shove it has anyone else had this experience and is this normal I dont have a mobile and personally dont really want one unless I have to but my wife does need one. If this is the standard of service for a new customer what the heck are they like when she is an existing customer.
Your opinions would be appreciated esp from those already on contract T moby
