What would you do? GPU OPTIONS

So I am set on my build that I'm going to order very shortly -
i7 4770k
27" asus monitor vg278he
H100i CPU cooler
Corsair 760w psu
Z87 saber tooth mobo
Cm storm stryker case

I'll be keeping my current SSD, RAM and HDD.

The only thing that's stopping me from ordering is a choice of GPU, I was going to go with one of the 290/290x in stock but I have read a lot about the heat issues and ideally wanted a non-reference card but I hate waiting.

Should I wait for the non ref 290/290x or is there a recommended choice that's in stock.

How long do people actually expect it to be before they are in stock to buy, the non ref cards.

Went with the acx 780 from evga in the end, not the classi. Still looks pretty decent, the one you linked further up.

Monitor and GPU came, awaiting others being delivered. Monitor looks fantastic, had a quick go on BF4 on my old system and it's so crisp and smooth even on low settings.

It's a shame I couldn't put the GPU in my old system to test, I did try but my current PSU only has a 6 + 8 pin power for PCI-E and the 780 requires 2 8 pin. Not to worry will just have to wait until the rest of the parts come to use it fresh!

I can't wait, honestly. It's been so long since I've been able to play games to their max, 10th jan can't come quick enough!!!

Anyone playing BF4 and fancies a game sometime?

Okay so an update, it's all plugged in and working with the exception of 1 LED on 1 fan. Going to take a look at that later when I'm home. OS is installed and it seems to be running smoothly.

I shall get some pictures up once I've sorted the LED.
