...you found out your partner had had a sex change operation?

Imagine you're in a committed relationship, not necessarily married but you love one another and are planning to spend the rest of your lives together. Your partner tells you that before you met they had a sex change operation, how do you think you would react? Would you stay with them?

A few people have said that. Why should you know? Obviously if she looks and sounds like a bloke in a dress then alarm bells should start ringing. But if she looks, sounds and acts like a woman, in all respects, then how could you know?

I've never met a transsexual but I'd imagine that a man could become a convincing woman if he worked hard enough at it. You wouldn't spend months taking pills and having surgical procedures only to continue to walk with your legs splayed, talk like a geezah and fart recreationally.
