Ive just been taken on at a new job and im hankering to spend my pennys.

I wont be using the car to commute, it will be only for evenings and weekends alone.

Come up with three options:

1.Theres nothing really wrong with my rover at the moment, could put more money into it, fully polybush throughout etc, but its money ill never get back.

Fun car to drive, ease of turbo driving, dont have to worry about leaving it places, insurable, have done all the work on it myself, suprise factor. :D

2. Nissan 200sx S14a

Average looks overall, uncle can give me a hand as hes a nissan mechanic, quick turbo power with good gains fairly cheaply with big potential.

Image is a bit poor, always see barry boys driving them and i dont really want to have to worry about the car. RWD = death in the wet! ;) Not checked insurance but wont be too expensive or cheap....

3. Honda Integra R DC2

Looks fab in white, would buy a UK model for insurance reasons, great handling, pretty uncommon (never seen one around here), i think they will hold their value well and with proper servicing see a good amount of money back come sale time.

Might miss turbo torque, havnt driven one yet.

If i bought a new car then i would probably sell the rover, but would depend on how much, i expect i would get 1000-1250 for it sold privately.

Could keep it for a track car but unsure.

Out of the lot - DC2

I really like DC5s but they are only 2 doors and I need 4. Also feel I'd really have to drive one to make sure I wouldn't miss turbo power.

Although currently in my 1.8 Golf Driver, I miss 70mph :)

I would personally take the 200SX as I would prefer the tunability and RWD fun. It has more modding potential, but the DC2 is also a great car.

I certainly don't, neither did Simon, or Drexel.

Quoted for truth. To be honest if you enjoy driving a car hard then what better than an engine that loves to be thrashed.

I'm after a 200sx S14a for my next car (but by the time I'm ready to buy, they'll all be in similar states to the majority of classic Scoobs available today) so I'm going to suggest one of those.

Look awesome (apart from the rear), easily tunable and plenty of fun to be had with RWD!

Also, congrats on the new job dude :)
