i am going to america next month and i will be buying a few components.

one of these are processors, the processor i am going to buy is a:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1.86GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6300 - Retail

for $166, this is off newegg (i dont think this is a competitor as its an american company and only ships to USA)

So basically i just want to know should i buy it from here or should i wait till the price cut in june. its £112 now, so how much do you think it will go down by?

new chips and what not!!!

if i get this chip, im hoping its going to be relatively easy to overclock, to about 2.4Ghz? (i havent ever overclocked before. actually this will be my first build!)

im buying a processor memory and gfx card from there, i doubt i will declare them.


they are small so should be able to get away with it.
