What would you do?

My other half's younger sister works for enterprise rent a car. This month their region is having a competition to see which individual gets the most referals. The winner gets £200. She is very good with people and is very near the top of the ladder. However she has found out that the two people ahead of her in two other branches have actually been given credit for referals from other members of their team in order so secure the cash to split among themselves.

Personally I would be pretty hacked off and would probably escallate it to senior management. Imo there is no point in having a competition to add motivation which only serves to demotivate those who are good at their job. She is annoyed, but is too nice for her own good and will not complain, she just isn't that type of person.

So what would you do?

She should shop them anonymously. Depends on how much she wants it!!!

Dog eat dog world... if she wants to win, she needs to learn to be ruthless. If she's not bothered... leave it.

i would question management on whether that practice is ok, if it isnt then report it :]

She's not bothered about the cash, more that her good work will be overshadowed by other's being underhanded.

That's what I was thinking but the OcUK Alpha Male[FONT=verdana, arial]©[/FONT] thing (even if she's not male) would be to punch people in the ovaries (even if they don't have any).

Yeah, post her name and which branch she's based in and we'll all write emails to the "head of" for that area commenting on how professional she was, yada yada yada... should score her lots of brownie points provided her head of isn't a member here too.
