I have my PC and the family PC in our study, next to it we've just had a lounge/conservatory built. I want to put a flatscreen, a SKY+ HDTV box and a playstation 3 in there. How/what can I link together and why, I'll need to lay any cabling before I lay the floor. I have a router the 2 PC's are connected to, I have Sky anytime on my PC along with BBC iplayer etc.

I'm really not sure how it all goes together, I don't know what media software there is on the playstation and how interacts with a PC, if at all.

Is there a website with all this info. or examples of media centres etc.

Thanks in advance

I'd just use the PS3 and stream any media using TVersity from one or either of the other PCs via some Solwise Ethernet Plugs: no need to lay cables, get 200 or 85Mbps (depending on the unit) from your power socket and the you can move the connection whenever you want.

Also, be very, very careful about screen position in a conservatory, you've got to think about glare all year round.
