Some of you might have already seen me putting up a few posts about my new rig.

Anyways as i've previously said i'm expecting my first baby next aprill, my misses knows how much my pc means to me so has kindly agreed to give me £550 towards a new pc.

My dad is kindly buying my current pc off me for about £400 and stick on and extra £250.

Now the only reason i want to upgrade is:

1) When the baby is here i know i'd just end up spending the money on him/her

2) Battlefield will be launching next year and i really want a good pc that can run it and future bf games like BF:BC.... cos lets face it we all know battlefield tend to release high end games etc

What i wanted to ask is... shall i wait until next year and save my money since as all i'm playing at present is CSS and L4D? Please dont flame and say why spend so much bla bla bla overkill bla bla, i have the money i want to spend to upgrade sumin that will at least 18 - 24 months before i need to update a GFX crd or sumin.

Here is my ideal set up... will it be cheaper after the new year?

Could get cheaper ram that would work just as good, and a lower power supply unless you plan to buy a second graphics card, and make sure your cooler fits in your case.

There will probably be some deals going in Jan, but there's no way of knowing what will on sale, I wouldn't say the price drops would even be that great anyway.
