Just last week I bought the "Corsair HS1 USB Headset" (B-Grade) from the B-grade section, obviously :D. I bought it on Wednesday expecting to receive it on the Friday and it came this afternoon which was a little bit disappointing as I had next day delivery on the product but eh that wasn't my main concern, what really got me was when my parcel arrived I soon realised I had the "HS1a" headset instead of the "HS1 USB", for anybody who doesn't know the analogue version of this headset really requires a dedicated sound card which I don't have so I decided id pick up the USB headset as it seemed at a good price.

At this point I checked all of my e-mails, receipt and account to double-check if I made the mistake of ordering the wrong thing and it turns out after a short phone call it was a mistake at there end and the person I spoke to was very understanding, advertising a product which they didn't have in stock to start with because as you know they only have what they have in B-grade, they offered to refund the product/difference for what I paid, I said I would ring back to discuss it further.

I am no means slagging of OC because you guys deliver great service 99% of the time I'm guessing I was just unlucky but I want to know what you guys would do in this situation as I have no clue and can't help but feel rather upset about it and as if I should make a big deal. So what would you do? :)

If this is in the wrong section/against any rules I am happy for it to come down, just needed to let some steam of really and hope I can get some feedback. Thank you

It sounds like an honest mistake to me. It happens to the best of us! I would just accept the refund and let it go - doesn't seem worth kicking up a fuss and generating bad feeling over it. I don't think you've been enormously inconvenienced by not having a headset for a few days?

Sounds like a simple mistake and they're prepared to repay your costs/post - sounds like it's an issue that's been resolved?

Would seem as if I am that level headed guy I thought I was. Your right no point kicking up a fuss, thanks for the second opinion :D.

it a little inconvienient as you will now have to wait to get the right one, but they have aknowledged the mistake and offered the refund - no harm done really - the OC'ers team are mere mortals like us ;) :p
