What would you do?

I got a New PC from OCUK (see sig)

The 2nd day the Fan on PSU started hitting the mesh, sent to OCUK who sent out a brand new one the next day (Cosair HX850 btw) in that time i replaced the faulty one with my HX1000 (3 years old)

So what do i do?

1. Replace the HX1000 with the HX850 (would take 30-1hour due to cable ties etc
2. Leave the HX1000 in till it dies & replace with the HX850
3. sell the HX850 & buy a new one if the HX1000 dies?
4. You choice

i would take out old and install new. would annoy m having old PSU in

then sell the old one for any amount

but thats probably just me ^^

I agree.. Why bother buying a new one at all otherwise?

Cut the mesh off the faulty one and carry on using that ? :cool:

On a serious note, use the new one.

I see your temptation but unless you are scraping the floor for money, theres no reason not to use your new PSU.

Laziness is a factor too i assume.
