The Story
So, I sent my Gigabyte 7990 back for RMA. due to artfaciting/corruption
when it reached around around 80-84c on the 11th of August.

I received a replacement 7990 This Thursday Sept 3rd
After using it today its worse than my previous card.

Games found on: Sniper Elite V3,Mafia II,Watchdogs
for example 20 minutes in Multi colours dots, Purple lines/Black lines all over the screen @ 72c!

Between The 11th & the 3rd of Sept i was using a spare Nvidia 570 i have, which i had no issues with.

What Can be Done? As you can imagine, I don't want to send back another 7990 for another Possible 28 day wait for replacement again. (possibly to get another Dodgy Card

what i asked OCUK:
: ask gigabyte to Refund me the money
: Send me a card of my choice of equal value first, & I will return the 7990
: OCUK Store Credit & return my 7990
(This would be the 4th Gigabyte card that has failed on my in the first year!)
so would love to try to another brand if possible.

what would you guys do in my shoes?
(if i get the choice for a refund or alternative card for a 7990)
would get around 320 pounds if full refund.

well if the 2nd hand 290 still has warranty, the orignal owner can rma it for you
so it's a win-win, an upgrade on the cheap, without the hassle of selling off your current card! xD
