I'm sure it's not worth me doing anything until it's full upgrade time but it's always worth asking! Spec as per sig. Most upgrades, CPU, motherboard or GPU all seem to be too much for what difference it would make.

No complaints with XF 7970 other than it can get a bit toasty after a while! I was waiting for Skylake but now thinking I'd see what AMD do and Intel's response if they release an 8 core beast. Any thoughts?
 
AMD releasing new GPU line next month. Might be worth getting a single card solution, to keep those noise and temperature levels down!
 
Agreed but I'm guessing I'll have to spend many hundreds of pounds for a little more performance. Probably best to just save for a big upgrade next year...
 
Your current system certainly is fine, possibly a larger SSD? Another 512GB to add on top?
 
Wait, really. There's nothing that will give you a significant boost. Like dacads said you could trade out your dual-card solution for a 390X or 980Ti to get rid of crossfire quirks but aside from that there's nothing huge. Larger SSD maybe?
