What would you get out of these?

Just thinking aloud really. Am getting a small loan for a new car and have a few cars that I'm thinking about getting.

My first choice was going to be the 205 GTi 1.9 but my friend has persauded me to go Jap.

So i'm now thinking Honda CRX VTi or SiR, Prelude 2.2 VTEC or perhaps a Golf GTi Mk2.

At the moment I'm still torn between the 205 and the CRX. I've always wanted a GTi but the reason i'm getting rid of the 205 Rallye is because it's unreliable and I can't imagine the GTi being much better.

The Honda's i'm told are more reliable, plus the CRX can be made to rev to 9k which is rather appealing!

Hmmm decisions decisions.

I'd pick the Pug(GTi) , superb fun, just make sure you get a good one

I personally would go with a Gen4 2.2 VTEC Prelude, Speed and looks. Love mine to bits, so much so that i decided to keep her and spend the money needed to put her right, even though shes 13 years old and worth very little.

Well, it's been done using a 309 so I can't see why you couldn't....
