I'm leaning more towards the 6870 but I've been out of the game a long time and would appreciate some help.

Personally I'd for got the 460. I have had better experiences with gigabyte than HIS. Plus it comes overclocked : P

So hard, lots of choice at that level.

6950 is just waiting to become the best mid level but amd and the resellers are gonna rape the shader unlock with prices until the 560 comes out. My HIS is now 30 dearer and that aint just vat!

Take cooler and overclocking into any decision and the 5850 comes out well.

I peronally would hold until a month after the 560, the upper mid end will change a lot then, ocuk have stated that the 460 is not eol meaning the 560 should go into direct competition with the 6950. Direct competition means price drops.

Call me on this; 6950 £190 in mid march.

If buying now then the msi twin razor 5850 for 129.99 at preorder is the card I'd get.

The 6870 is quicker and the better card. the 460 is about to be EOLd in 10 days.

Warranty wise Gigabyte are the best though.

I would wait a week or so, the 560 is launching for about £190-£200 and the 1GB models of the 6970 and 6950 area about to land too. I reckon you are going to see some price changes in the next couple of weeks so hang tight!

Is the 460 going EOL ?, A few posts up El Kuarlos is saying the oc have said it is not. Where have you read it is going end of line, Do you have a link?
