Hi Guys,

Was travelling to work this morning and passed an AA van in the layby, next thing I see the guy screaming in the air, crying and kicking his van.

In a situation like this would you have stopped? My wife was going mental with me as I couldnt help it, had to stop and chat to him and ask what was up.

What would you guys do?

if i wasn't in a mad rush, yea i would've stopped.
last thing you want is the chap, in a moment of madness, to do something stupid...
...and then reading about it on the news =x

I always feel a little guilty driving past someone that's broken down, I have stopped once or twice but I've never encountered this situation.

I'd like to think I would have stopped... but probably would have been in two minds. I hope he's okay, what happened?

He was heading for a breakdown.

Inb4 OP (maybe van driver disguised as OP) does a runner.
SO why was this guy upset??

Yes I would and have done so in the past.

In the case where I stopped, it was a Mondeo driver, suited & booted chap, he was inconsolable, turned out the guy had just been told over the phone his son had died in an RTA that morning.

Grace of God & all that, in a similar situation,God forbid, I'd hope somebody would stop for me.

OP, What was the reason in this instance?
