What would you have done?

When I was working for Halfords some kids in the year below me at sixth form let 2 off. This was a metro store and probaly wasn't any bigger than you're average hardware store. Needles to say it cleaned the place out. They knew I worked there and knew their names so I don't really know what went through their empty heads and they soon recieved visits from the fuzz.

Not only does it stink but can also affect daily trade for said business.

Did the right thing. People learn from mistakes usually.

Should have set the kids and then their parents on fire to be honest. Problem solved once and for all... ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Mouthy parents of mouthy kids. The worst?
Yup. Kids setting off stink bombs is one thing, chuck them out. Kids then getting dad to come in and stick up for them is unacceptable and both they and the parents need to learn that.

To the parents: "You have come here to intimidate me therefore if you don't leave I'll call the police." Start dialling.

definitely did the right thing OP. When i used to work in McDs kids always set them off on a Saturday they smell rank.

If I'd had caught any of them doing it they'd have been barred straight away, no ifs or buts.

I think you were a little long on the term of the ban. A year or two would have been better I think. Though to be fair, once they get a bit older, nobody would recognise them from the pics anyway.
