What would you upgrade next?

Hi all,

Im starting to get the upgrade itch and am curious as to what would be the next best component to upgrade next in my system.

I am currently running:

Q6600 @ 3.4
4Gbs DDR2
GTX 470 @ 750mhz
SSD
650w XFX psu

System is used for gaming.

Any input appreciated.

I would say CPU... but not worth upgrading if you ask me.

If you multitask perhaps 8GB DDR3 RAM.

Then I would recommend nothing. There's no point getting another core2quad, the next upgrade for you is a whole platform switch.

I'd see about getting 8gb of ram, if your mobo can hold that

Or as you say mobo, ram, CPU.

Nothing remotely like what you said in the original post lol!

Anyway. I think everyone and their dog knows what mobo/cpu/ram to go for these days.

CPU - 2500K as usual
RAM - Cheapest 1600Mhz Dual channel kit you can find. Corsair etc.
Mobo - Any decent Z68 board. Choose the features you will use. Don't over spend.

Pick the the best looking case in your opinion if you want one.

Keep your PSU and SSD.

Pick up a second hand cheap 470 if you want extra grunt and SLI them
