I currently have A Thermaltake armor...

I find this case loud and cable management is really bad etc... What would you upgrade 2?

looking at atec 1200? is this best for cooling?

1200 is awesome for cooling, and cable managment, not the quietest though, it depends on what is most important to you?

Cooling is most important at moment and case management. leaning more towards 1200 but reviews are almost the same for both

Natural consequence of open fully noise leaking design and hard HDD mounting...
You can feel case vibrating clearly when touching it lightly, right? And HDD seeks sound lovely?

Also that pile of HDDs makes some noise all by itself without any loudspeaker backup from case so you should block that direct noise escape path.

And if you want to have long graphics card without danger of wounding fingers/knuckles you'll want case which can take E-ATX motherboard. Then there's actual space for graphics card without shoehorning it in.


I have four Caviar Blacks (WD6401AALS), two Caviar Blue/SE16s (WD5000AAKS) and one older Caviar SE16 (WD4000KD) in my case and I can hear butterfly read test noises only when listening from close.
