As title really,

If you had the setup in my sig, what would you upgrade given a budget of around £250...

I can't really fault it. What PSU? I'd start with the minor stuff, case, case fans, coolers etc. and then maybe thing about getting a new CPU, like a C2Q.

Nothing - if it's doing all that you ask of it - it's still a very tidy spec.

Anything specifically that it's letting you down on?

@Superewsa - I have a corsair 620w psu, was thinking of a quad core cpu but my machines main use is gaming so was unsure how much of an advantage this would bring ?
Kayboard and mouse are pretty sorted, Enermax aura and razer deathadder.

@Plec - Nothing in particular letting it down just have that funny feeling that useually leads to an upgrade ! haha

@DragonQ - Have the uber set of speakers sorted but an ssd sounds ok, do these make the computer feel much faster ?

Then I would, personally, save your pennies until you have double that amount and upgrade to a very respectable AMD/INTEL upgrade in 6-12 months time; when it might be needed. You will get far more gain for your money and will benefit from the performance jump appreciably more.

As alluded to before if your system is doing all that you ask of it; you may as well wait and save. But if you want to spend your £250 you could always experiment with water as you’re an overclocker?

i had a dual core before i had this build, when i took the plunge into quad core territory my fps increased depending on game by about 40%, especially in crysis and source based games like l4d/tf2 etc. plus in other uses like mulitmedia it rly takes a load off the cpu. so if ur up for a quad core get the cheapest 45nm quad core :D

If you want SSD or CPU though you could try getting it higher than 2.8 but I expect you've already tried that.

If it's doing all you ask of it atm then, as someone else wrote, save your money for now and wait until you really need it.:)
