Hi, im building a small, silent pc and want your advice.
it will be used for browsing the internet, microsoft office and maybe a game of football manager at the most.

MotherBoard- ASRock Z77E-ITX Intel Z77 £102
Monitor - Samsung S24B300HL 23.6" Widescreen LED Monitor £130
Keyboard - Logitech Wireless Keyboard K270 £20
Mouse - Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX £40
Printer - Canon PIXMA iP4950 £55
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM £83.99

Total - £792.93

i have a 1tb samsung spinpoint f3 HDD spare so will be using that.

What you think?

:)

I would change that Mobo to this one

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe (Socket 1155/Intel Z77.DDR3/S-ATA 600/Mini ITX) £159.98
Total : £170.78 (includes shipping : £9.00).

As someone else where ran into problems mounting a after market CPU cooler on to the AsRock ITX board with the mount failing the mSATA port on the rear of the board.

Linky

Also you could save yourself some reddies and drop to an i3 for your needs if your not going to anything to demanding on the system :)

Im not 100% sure about this but,

• You can either not overclock with a H77 board
• Or you can only adjust up to the max Turbo.

I've tried looking, cant be sure either way.

now is there anything you would change before i make the order on monday?

i wanted to know if at a later date i wanted to play games could i just add a GPU?
will this system be totally silent, someone mentioned the standard heatsink will be the noisiest thing, could you recommend me a silent one that will fit?
also would the fans provided with the case be enough to cool the system down and would they be silent, if not could you recommend?

what else do i need to build this computer, i built one for a friend around 2 years back and i think the only thing i have missing from the above is some thermal paste?

can you see anything else missing that i need?

and last question lol, am i limiting myself or paying more for a smaller computer, if i had a standard size case would i be better off or not?
