You could get a Quad Core + i650 Ultra motherboard for the same price as your AMD setup.

And you have a nice cpu, but yet you got a average gpu, you'd be better off spending less on the cpu and more on a decent graphics card.

GFX Card is my next thing you have to remember I am 16 so give me time:P I am still at school but got a new job so I will hopefully invest in one soon but thanks for the advice :)

So you already have the stuff?

As said you could've gone for a quad core chip with that kind of money, or a nice 8800gts / 2900pro if you use your pc for games.

The sound card is a bit overkill as you could get an extreme gamer / music and save £40.

I am hoping to get a 8800 soon once my job kicks in abit more, the sound card I got as a chanukah present from my granddad, so I guess I could agree but then again, why complain?

get a super cheapy gfx card in the mean time then go straight to an 8800, at least you won't lose much money

Looks good to me. I would have got a cheaper sound card. I think the athlon 6000+ is a better buy than the 6400+
