Dealer just phoned me and said they will diamond brite the car I just bought for free..

I was all set to go to my local autoglym seller this afternoon to buy any new polishes etc i needed .As i always used the autoglym range for years

For free, why not.

I wouldn't pay for any of the dealer offered "protection" though, I'd rather put the money towards a professional detail/paint correction.

For free, why not..
I know many people don't like the main dealer staff polishing there cars and prefer to do it them selfs..

But I look at it this way
These staff do this for a job on brand new cars almost everyday so there going have far more experience then I am at polishing a car..

They also don't care.

Mine had diamondbrite on already as it was a showroom car.

worked a treat, washed with their shampoo and every now and again a quick rinse with the special wash stuff to re wax it

and it beaded up a treat, car was beading constantly for the 2 years I had it. so No complaints about it here.

If its applied properly then yes it is worth it.

Same goes for Autoglym lifeshine. However if it is a rush job then it will turn out not nice at all.

Had it on mine as missus wanted it done  total waste of time and after 2 applications I made them refund me

I suppose for nowt you may as well as that is about all it's worth

For free, then why not.

I got the sell spiel for it when buying the Jaaag but decided against for 2 reasons:

1) Stupid price
2) The small print T&C's for the guarantee were stupid. You had to wash the car weekly using only their products. **** that !
