Whatever happened to mag?

Played the beta.
Didn't buy the game.
From my understanding there were 256 (or whatever it was) players on a map but you had different teams in different areas doing different objectives.
I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

It worked beautifully. Never an ounce of lag. Just the game was ridiculous. No-one ever hardly worked together. In my experience you just spawned, ran for miles, got killed by a sniper in one shot. Rinse and repeat. I just couldn't find a weapon loadout that suited my style of gameplay.

Technically it did work but I found the 256 games to be too hectic, as mentioned above it requires a lot of coordination as a squad because of the number of objectives.

The smaller 128 and 64 player games however were much more fun and generally always worked. I can't say I found a problem finding a weapons loadout that worked for me, but I did put my early skill points into the stability and accuracy skills.

I've been playing Sabotage almost since launch. It's a fantastic game, I agree you can have some dire games when people in your squad don't work together but if you group up it's great.

Anyone here on Valor?

Pretty much this - I didn't get picked off by snipers that much, I could never find a kit I enjoyed, they were just far too similar.

It just got dull fast imo, totally overshadowed by BC2.

I found that the maps were so big that you would just get a row of snipers on one side and a row on the other then everyone avoided the middle of the map
