Should I buy Dirt2 or Need For Speed Shift.. or even that Blur?

All are the same price on Steam.

Which would you get?

Shift, great visuals, great handling (if you have a wheel because joypadders can't drive them) and great sound.

What it does lack though is an online community.

I have not played either whith a wheel but Dirt2 was fun with the KB, since having my G27 its been on the PS3 for GT or GTR - Evo on the PC.

Dirt 2. Shift was pretty rubbish imo. The feel of the car is better in dirt 2. Would recommend using an xbox controller over a wheel.

Preferred shift, good selection of cars/tracks, great graphics and sound. Dirt 2 is better visually I guess but they went way too over the top with all the menu's and americanization and it just got annoying for me, that and Gfwl.

They are all arcade racers.

The main problem with Shift is the handling model (or lack of) it's very arcade like and just odd, cars don't behave as you'd expect i.e. it's both toned down and exaggerated to allow people to play it without crashing out constantly.

The fact that both games drive better with a gamepad than a wheel is telling.

I can't even play SHIFT the handling is that bad (and I play Forza and GT5 ), Dirt2 gets my vote since its the most fun I've had in a game in awhile, gets even better when you get the unstable STI Impreza:D
