whats a conroe rig???

i have read loads of posts about people making conroe rigs, and i presumed conroe was just a make but i cant find it anywhere. So is it a make or is it somthing else???? ???????

It's the code name of the desktop variant of the Core Microarchitecture. The commercial name is Core 2 Duo and these are supplanting older Pentium 4s.

o i have heard (and seen) core 2 duo but i didnt know they were called conroe.
