What's a good but reasonably priced IPS monitor?

I've gotten to the stage where the only thing I really want to upgrade is my monitor. I currently have this which, although great for gaming, just doesn't make me go "wow" and lacks decent colours.

So I'm on the hunt for a decent panel for just desktop work that's nice to look at. Considering it's really just me scratching the upgrade itch, I'm not out to spend £400, but I was wondering if there was anything out there that fits the £200 price tag and delivers pretty colours (every time I see the iMacs at work I feel sad that my monitor fails to deliver those colours).

Am I being naive in thinking I can get something high quality for that price range or is there a good 24" that fits the bill?

The Dell U2311H is probably your best bet. Here is a review. This is only 23in 16:9 1080p, but your really can't get a new 24in monitor for around £200.

Their are cheaper 23in IPS monitors like this viewsonic, but it doesn't use RTC so the pixel response time is pretty slow and not ideal for gaming. Here is a review.

You could also go second hand - the 24in 1920x1200 E-IPS HP ZR24W (review here) is good for gaming and may be around your price range second-hand.

Alternatively - you could try a TV. Last week I picked up the LG 32LD450 TV specifically because it works well as a PC monitor (more info here). It has 16ms input lag, 1080p res, very low response time and either uses an S-IPS or A-MVA panel (panel lottery explained in the above link). I bought mine new for £219. I have to say, it is really very nice (I got one with the S-IPS panel) - it handles motion really well.
