What's a good mobo/cpu/ram bundle to get - £400 budget

Just browsing these pre-made mobo/cpu/ram bundles that Overclockers sell and wondering what would be the best i can get for about £400. It will be setup for a gaming PC and i would prefer Intel.

Is getting a bundle even worth it? Would appreciate any advice.

I will be sorting the graphics card, PSU, case etc afterwards so just interested in mobo/cpu/ram for now. Would consider saving some money if there's a cheaper alternative that''ll get the job done by the way I am not looking for a super gaming PC - in fact my native rez is only 720p lol, so i don;t know if that's a factor. I just know that my current A6-6400K and R7 265 isn't making me happy :S

A bit over but you could save by going for the cheaper Teamgroup RAM - I have a preference for Kingston's current stuff though having got 3 of their kits in my systems at home.

If you're only at 720p IMHO it isn't worth going all out. I'd go 4690k (£170) with 8gb ram (£60) along with the Asus Z97-K (£90) so that's £320 for a nice gaming bundle. You can even fit in a nice cpu cooler and psu for under £400!

First thing first I'd definitely get a better monitor, gaming at only 720p it's not really worth upgrading anything else if your planning on sticking to that resolution. I'm with 'scotdragon' on this one, spend the extra and get yourself a nice new monitor, it'll be like you've been living your gaming life in Standard Definition the whole time
