im still in the process of researching upgrades for my computer and so im checking out the i7 as 4c/8t seems more relevant nowadays, so might be worth it over an i5k, not to mention i dont like win 10, so ryzen is no use, but i dont know what a good price is for an i7 given its end of life, im not buying yet, however nearly 300 if not over 300 seems steep for a 5/6 year old processor.

whats a good price for a i7 4770k?

i think i mustve looked at an old price or expensive site when i was seeing them over 300 and not new, i dont use ebay so not worried about those, but i notice cex is selling for £185 which is probably too much if you can get them cheaper and despite my post count i cant yet see the MM, i guess ive just been seeing a lot of over priced items. £150 is a good price considering the i5 4460 and similar sells from £80 it seems and are much weaker. im keep my eyes peeled in case any good ones go for 100 ha
