Whats a Lian Li? Silvestone back on top-

Doesn't something need to be on top in the first place to be back on top? ;)

Looks like a very nice, very expensive case :)
 
Front looks nice shame about the side panel, i just don't like it, i know it's to help HDD cooling, but not to my taste

It's actually to cool the graphics I believe. I'm afraid I've ordered one :rolleyes: .

I think it's just gorgeous. And so easy to fit a twin radiator in the roof. It's actually not that much more than an S80/B or even a V1000B+ II really.

Once you make the leap to buying a case that costs over £100, a case that costs £200 is much easier to swallow. ;)

hmm thats interesting as it seems from the pictures that it's right over the HDD bays? And you'll be modding that out anyway wont you!

Would not say Silverstone are on top, the value for money is just not there.

Although, saying all of that give me a week for some cheques to cash and I will be buying me one of these, it just seems to be what an ATCs would be now.

In all honesty this really does seem to have a touch of S80 over the top everything to it from what people have told me.

Let me know how you find it WJA96, would love to hear about it a little before I put the cash down. :p
 
Must agree it looks very nice, shame the rest of their range is stinky pewp though.

Love how it looks in Silver.
 
Would be better with a door imo... do they do one with a door?

Its like the A10b but without the door and a little shorter.
 
tbh I think the Lian Li's all look nicer than that, the duct on the side looks horrid.

Its a premium case. The ATC's are worth £70 if they were still being made by CM.

£140 for a 210? lol, No wonder they aint sold out yet.

Its like the beer, the price is part of it. I mean, will a bottle of champagne feel special if it cost £10, or £1000?

Agree. I like doors too.I think they will release one with a door in a while.

The ATCs range cost £100+ basically without exception, and 201's cost £180 or above.

They were discontinued years back, this is just a continuation of that design idea, after all most of the ATC-Tek guys are at Silverstone.

There is no doubting price can make it special, but I challenge you to make the S80 cheaper than what it is, while making enough money for everyone, with the case being high quality.

The same will probably apply to the TJ09, as although Silverstone usually overprice most things by quite a way, the TJ09 undoubtedly has that 'prescence' the great cases do.

201 has it
110 has it
v1000+ has it
PC7+II has it
TJ09 has it

S80 does not have it, not enough character
P180 does not have it, to many corners cut

I can go on, the price rarely makes a great not great, £200 on a case is NOTHING if it lasts you for 10 systems.

Cases hold their value for years aswell, like to see you sell a 7800gt for more than you paid for it next year, easily done with cases if you can predict what is going to happen.

The ATCs are worth that if made now yes, but only because of how outdated they would be!

Keep the design process going, and the build quality and they would be selling a loss, not going to happen.
