I been messing with my 920 this week and managed 100c on multiple cores. it just clocks down to 12x until it cools down then storms off again. that was on about as i messed a lot 1.38v. took about 25+min to reach max temp. (using Noct dual fan on air) Logic is. if intel built that protection into the cpu. they know what they are doing and that must be ok for its expected lifetime?. chukkle Last edited: 20 Feb 2009
