I have limited Ocing skills, so just settle for leaving most settings @ auto & upping the FSB daily by 5MHz till it falls over.
The trouble is it keeps on going up & I think I’m loosing my nerve to go higher!
The vcore seems very high, I believe the mobo auto adjusts its upwards as the FSB rises.

Core Volts, set to auto in BIOS & showing
1.488 in CPU-Z but 1.52 in BIOS

Asus P5B
E6400
2 x 512 Balistix PC5300
8 x 415MHz = 3.32GHz

memory is 1:1 @ 5.6.6.18 (I don’t actually know what this means)

Currently @ 55C TAT & CoreTemp, believe it or not Asus probe2 shows the same!

Its running BOINC 24/7 both cores 100% load, so its very stable.

Have run it @ 3.28GHz on stock cooler for 4 weeks and the temps were up to 73C.

should I up the FSB again today, or call it a day?

Any suggestion will be appreciated

Keep going until you hit 70c load. They run happily at this temp and its nothing to worry about. Go much higher and it will start to throttle back.

I wouldn't put more than 1.6v through the chip for 24/7 use but thats just me. I ran my E6600 with 1.6v through it for a year with no problems whatsoever.
