I'm bored of my phone, how much would it be worth? Ignore my other thread about my phone "rotting", I'm going to buy a replacement cover soon :p Would a straight swap for a new Motorola SLVR L7 be a good deal?

SLVR L7???
Urm.... apart from the cost difference, the L7 can be found about £100 or so new(ish), in terms of specs, its pretty much poorer in most areas then the 8800.

But hey since your offering, I could swap it for a Nokia 3210? Retro is in now adays! :D

Depends on the condition its in but £150?? lol lol, dont be silly. The 8800 will still hold its value quite a bit as its still expensive to buy offline. But as i said it depends on the condition of it ie scratches and scuff marks will devalue it a bit i guess.

Ahhh right ok no problems, yeh for even a broken one or one that is in bad condition you would be looking at £150 at least.

i say fix the casing and then sell it for around £300.

if you do a good job of the casing then no1 will ever know, plus uv got to remember these retail at £580 sim free still and the price isnt the hard bit about trying to get hold of one!

With fixed casing and all box and stuff you should get 350 on ebay maybe a bit more if your lucky

L7's are 150 new... and even less if you shop around

if your going to fit a new cover then e-mail me ([email protected]) for the service video as it isnt simple to do (unless you've taken phones apart). I managed to do it without using the video on my phone. As for the resale value your looking at 320 minimum

You can buy a new casing for £35 or well I can :D

Then sell it for £300.

Lightly scratched ones are sold for £250 ish.
