Hi what is after Haswell seeing how Haswell is just a refresh?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
isn't there a limit on how far they can shrink the nm process?
Will give Haswell a miss and wait for Broadwell.
Haswell is a new microarchitecture, not a refresh.Hi what is after Haswell seeing how Haswell is just a refresh?
Skylake is a new microarchitecture, not a refresh.Broadwell on the 14nm process. Ivy Bridge is Tick, Haswell is Tock. Broadwell will be Tick, Skylake is the refinement (tock) of Broadwell.
Haswell a new architect?
U sure?

I also think so.
Ivy was the refresh of Sandy with a lower nm process
I'll be getting an i5 or i7 haswell when they launch to replace my ageing Phenom II
not only the nm process but the speed that some materials can work.
"soon" they will move away from silicon.
