Mates,
I have recently bought a Coolermaster v8 and now can no longer have a 80mm fan on the side because of how tall the cooler is. Should I mount the fan to the outside of the case? Really it seems like the air coming in through there is going out through my psu, and therefore air is not properly passing through my heatsink for two reasons: 1) air is escaping from the top part of the heatsink fan because my psu is directly above it stealing the air that way. 2) my exhaust fan is a p.o.s. because I bought it based on looks (bad move) it actually is a led that can display characters when the fan spins so it at least looks good for being a piece.

What I would like to do is close the 80mm hole in the clear side completely that way air would be forced to be sucked in from the front (i have 2 80mm front intake fans) and out the back. Any sugesstions? I don't would still like to be able to see through it but I can't find like a plain clear plug.

Also I have ordered a 120 silverstone fan that pushes 110cpm, for the rear exhaust. I'm hoping for a push pull effect and also to cure my problem of my psu stealing air from the top of my cooler. What are your thoughts? I also have an 80mm top exhaust all in apevia x-cruiser. Also should I get the same silverstone fan to replace my coolermaster fan and how hard is it to replace the fan in the v8 because I really don't want to remove it.

thanks in advance.
