Hi

whats Best way to test my broadband speed i have done test on websites and its saying 1mb im with virgin media my net speed ment to be 4mb :mad:

Whats going on ?

seems like a phone up job to get their fingers from up there ******* A** Holes

Virgin media is so going down the pan now that its not blueyonder anymore

Big file from a known-reliable site, or better still a load of big files at once, coupled with a timer of some sort.
Don't rely on speedtest sites, and don't rely on browser download meters.

I test mine by going to ATI's driver download site and find somthing big to download (60ishMB)

Well firstly 4mb will run at 1mb speeds for 5hours if you have downloaded 800mb between the times of 4pm-9pm.

Best way to test speed i think is to use a download program (i use DAP) because it uses multi threads to connect and downloads at full speed.
