Whats better Apple or Android for gaming?

Am looking for some nice HD gaming via a tablet while on holiday. Really hate apple! but if they are streets a head I might buy a Ipad.

Just wondering which platform offers the best HD gaming experience ?

Am looking at the nexus 10, but reading a lot of games and applications are made for mobile so don't look to great. Where as the apple apps are made purely for the ipads resolution.

Is this true?

Apple applications are coded in xcode, which is designed by Apple. Resolutions are defined from Apple inside xcode.

all the games ive played on my nexus have scaled, most android apps scale to whatever resolution your device is!
