Whats better, Manchester 3800+ or Tolado 3800+?

Define 'better'...

Essentially they are the same, since they both run at the same speed, and both have 512KB cache, just the Toledo version has had half its 1MB cache disabled.

I believe people are seeing the same sort of clocks from both Manchester & Toledo based 3800+, ~2.5-2.6GHz generally.

The only thing to say is that if anyone ever finds a way of enabling the extra 512KB cache on the Toledo core then that would be the better chip, but it's pretty much of a muchness TBH.

Buy the cheaper one.

The Toledo core. This is an E6 stepping CPU and there have been problems with some E4 manchesters with gaming.

The cache is disabled at hardware level so there is no way that this can be enabled.
