Hi guys

Thinking of getting rid of my AMD FX-53 chip and getting a X2 4200+ chip the thing is I run my PC for gaming and was wondering if the X2 would increase game performance.


Spec
Asus SLI SE
AMD FX-53
2x XFX 7900GT
 
I guess things like the Unreal 3 engine will be runing multi thread?

Also is it possible to overclock the X2's to 2.4?

Last question what X2 would have a simular catch and clock to the FX?
