Building my core i5 system and have the choice of 2 power supplies. Which will be better for my overclocking needs? - Watercooled 4gig+.
Mobo is p55m-ud2, i5 750 with one hard disk and optical drive with an 8800gtx.

Antec Earthwatts PSU - EA-500

The max load is rated at 408w with 24amps on the 3&5v rails and 17amps on the 12v rails. The bonus with this psu is it has an 8-pin cpu power connector where as the other doesn't.

OCZ500SXS - 500watt psu

On the otherhand the OCZ psu has a max load of 500watt combined in a little graph type thing with 30 and 18amps on the corresponding rails. Downside is that it only has a 4 pin cpu connector.

Which should I use?

Are you sure? Even with the antec having the 8-pin cpu connector? I've installed using the ocz but can't get it to boot at 4gig. Stable @ 3.3 and cpu using 112.5watts. Would buying a 4pin to 8pin be beneficial?

Couldn't get commputer to post at anything over 4gig. Swapped psus to the antec, same settings, no problem reaching 4gig plus. Antec wins....
