Today I came back to my computer and it had green flickering lines all over the place on the screen. ( see pic)

I tried differnt graphics card firstly and it did the same. I then tried a differnt computer on the monitor and it worked with no green lines.

Soooo what else could be causing this?

Cheers

Very odd that the lines don't extend over the HWMonitor window aswell.

Monitor issue, i would expect the whole screen to be affected not just a part of it.

Re-install your graphics drivers.

Hmm, weird. Tried swapping the RAM out? Normally I would have gone straight for the graphics card but you've already covered that.

If problem doesn't appear when using monitor in other PC that hints strongly to problem being in that PC.
(or in cable/connection if different one was used)

Very odd that the lines don't extend over the HWMonitor window aswell.
On white background green pixels are already on...

I've seen this before using AMD drivers it can be power saving options causing the memory to under volt. I assume the second card was also AMD? As said above reinstall drivers or roll back to an older version. If not then also as above were the same cables used?
