Hey guys,

Just last night I reset my RAM speed to 3000Mhz in the BIOS from 2133Mhz..

and literally 10 mins ago crashed to blue screen with error code along the lines of :

"page_fault_in_nonpaged_area"

I read a little online, and is memory at fault here? It just seems so coincidental considering last night the Mhz was increased, never had this issue before and had this RAM about..3-4 months..

Seems overclock related, if you move it back to 2133, does the crashing stop?

Thanks for the speedy reply snips!

I haven't tried yet, the crash has only just happened..but like you say, seems OC related..but if my RAM is a 3000Mhz speed..is that still technically overclocking?

There is a thread on the forum with Ryzen compatable ram at high speeds but i cant find it or you could check the mem support list for your motherboard.

Hey guys..

literally 10mins ago I got up, woke my PC from sleep and imediatly went to a BSOD with error code : QUOTA_UNDERFLOW

I read this is most likely to be the SSD or the RAM?

Any help asap would be great..

I have just reboot and had to set the RAM to 2133Mhz as the next step up was big at 2933Mhz :(

Why the is no 2400Mhz or such is beyond me

The new BSOD screens suck, they give so little information. I suggest you use software like bluescreenview to find out what the specific cause of the crash is.

I assume you're running a pagefile.sys - right?

I have no idea tbh mate, lol, no clue..

I have backed off the 300Mhz setting in my BIOS, back to 2133Mhz and so far (touch wood) has been ok, CPU temps down a little and not a huge hit in FPS for BF1!
